For parents and children alike mistakes are wonderful
opportunities for reflection and learning.
Sometimes as parents we make a mistake, like yelling because we lose patience or speak faster than we really should and say the wrong thing, perhaps we react negatively before thinking through to alternatives.
What are these mistakes telling us about where we are, what we are feeling, what we want or need?
This weekend, think about a mistake you have recently made. Try not to dwell in the guilt or the shoulds…rather, reflect:
What can I learn from the mistake I have made? How do I wish to handle this the next time?
Peace & Be Well,
